Privacy Policy — Design Task Panel

This Privacy Policy explains how Design Task Panel ("the App," "we," "us") collects, uses, and stores information when you use the App inside Canva.

Who we are

Design Task Panel is developed by Cancap ("Developer"). Contact: supportcraftlabs@gmail.com.

The App is a third-party application built using Canva's Apps SDK. It is not made or operated by Canva.

What information we collect

When you use the App, we collect and store:

Your Canva user ID and team ID — used to identify who created a task or note, and to scope data to your team so other teams cannot see it.
Task content you enter — task titles, due dates, recurrence settings, and any user ID you type into the "assign to" field.
Note content you enter — the text of notes you write inside the App.
Design and team identifiers — used to associate tasks and notes with the specific Canva design and team they belong to.

We do not collect: your name, email address, payment information, or the actual contents of your Canva designs (images, text on the canvas, etc.) beyond the design's identifier.

How we use this information

We use the information above solely to:

Display your tasks, notes, and dashboard within the App
Let you filter tasks assigned to you
Auto-generate recurring tasks

We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with any third party except as described below.

Where data is stored

Data is stored using Cloudflare D1 (a database service provided by Cloudflare, Inc.), accessed through a backend we operate (designtask-worker.cancap.workers.dev). Cloudflare acts as our infrastructure provider; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for how they handle data on their platform: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

Data retention

Task and note data is retained until you delete it within the App, or until you uninstall the App and request deletion (see "Your rights" below).

Your rights

Delete individual tasks and notes at any time within the App
Request full deletion of all data associated with your team by contacting supportcraftlabs@gmail.com

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including verifying every request against Canva's authentication tokens and restricting data access to your own team. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
